Fragen, welche Fragen?
anlässlich des Artikels über die mächtig hohen Einnahmen der Mozilla Foundation hat sich Tristan Nitot (“President Mozilla Europe”) angeboten, umfassend darauf einzugehen.
Bevor ich mir die Fragen alleine aus den Fingern sauge, was habt Ihr denn für Fragen speziell zu dem o.g. Thema und auch allgemein? Bitte auf englisch, der Gute ist der deutschen Sprach nicht so mächtig. Eh? Ja, klar, die Antworten werden hier veröffentlicht.

I am mostly concerned about privacy issues, for example I think it was the case that the little Google icon for the search box would not be cached in Firefox, but loaded from Google each time instead. That means as soon as you start Firefox, Google can send you it’s cookie and start to track you. Are things like that a concern to Mozilla, or have they just sold out?
I have no problem with them making money in general, but the privacy of the users should be priority #1. It is one of the reasons for using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer, after all.

What precautions in general take Mozilla due to more and more JavaScript/XSS security issues? At the moment FF-User have to install add-ons like NoScript to keep their browser secure.
Social networks, social browsing (like StumpleUpon), social news and bookmarks become important. How does the Mozilla Foundation think about? And what does that mean for Mozilla products like Thunderbird and Firefox?
Google is one of the most important internet companies. Does your deal with Google encourage their market monopoly in search? And are you afraid of that?
Would you be good enough to link Robert’s blog from mozilla.com? His pagerank has fallen ;)
What would you do (or say) when Thunderbirds 3 Mio. $ are gone and you will be asked for help?
