machs nochmal Marc

Im gleichen Jahr, 99, hat er dann die Firma Loudcloud gegründet und Teile davon 2002 an EDS verkauft (The company that was formerly known as Loudcloud was founded on September 9, 1999 (i.e., 9/9/99) as a managed services provider. After selling the operations side of the business to EDS in the summer of 2002, Loudcloud became Opsware and went to market as a technology company, offering the software that had been developed internally to support customer systems via automated server life-cycle management. Aus dem annual report: In August 2002, the Company sold its Managed Services Business to EDS for a total purchase price of $63.5 million in cash and entered into a separate agreement with EDS pursuant to which the Company granted EDS a license to use its software products. Under this license agreement, EDS agreed to pay the Company a minimum license and maintenance fee of $52.0 million in the aggregate over a term of three years.)
