Jede Informatiopn is hilfreich fuer uns.

Hi,

As you might know we’re organizing The Next Web Conference in April for the third time. Last year we introduced the first The Next Web Awards. with 85.000 votes it was already quite a success. We have changed the format a little bit and are focussing on European Startups and technology companies. As we believe that the European Internet scene is not only growing but also professionalising we would want to pick out the best european companies out there.

For The Next Web awards we are teaming up with the biggest blogs in each country (thenextweb.org, Techcrunch France, TechCrunch UK and Loogic (Spain) I’d like to know if Basicthinking is interested in becoming one of the Blog co-hosts of The Next Web Awards.

The Award ceremony will take place on the second day of The Next Web Conference, during the plenary session (at the end of the day). We will announce these awards as a joint effort between the biggest blogs in Europe and we’ll do cross promotion on the blogs. We’re planning to announce the nomination round of the awards on Friday (so there is some time pressure).

Looking forward to your reply.

  • Hier: http://2008.thenextweb.org/bloggers/

    Blog Partner:
Are you the biggest and most influential blogger in your country, then you might want to become our blogpartner.

How do I become a Blog partner?
    – We’ll invite you (if we missed you for some blurry reason, mail babette)

What do I get as a Blog Partner?
    – Blog partners get a press pass
    – Your logo on the conference website
    – Special treatment by Boris

    Mausi?

  • Host heißt Gastgeber / Moderator. In diesem Fall wohl eher Gastgeber.

  • We simply though you were the most influential blogger in your country and we hope you want to work with us! Looking forward to meeting you, and your readers, in Amsterdam in April.

550 Euro.

  • @Robert Basic
In France, Spain and the UK I already knew all bloggers. I asked my friend Felix Petersen if he knew what was the biggest German blog and he mentioned Basicthinking.
Germany has a thriving web2.0 scene and I hope we will see a lot of German companies nominated for a The Next Web Award.
Would be cool working with you and meeting you in Amsterdam.

    Patrick

My German is really bad 🙁 sorry.

Ja was denn nun?

  • @BloggingTom we’ve had over 150 requests for a press pass from bloggers (almost everybody has a blog nowadays..). We only have limited space for press, so we needed to find a way to make a distinction between BIG technology blogs and bloggers.

That is why we have a discount for nloggers who like to cover the conference. The biggest technology blogs (like basicthinking) can become a blog partner and will get a free press pass.

I hope things are clear now.

  • oups, Patrick, as i see, im in Berlin right at that time. So, we have a little problem. If it doesnt matter to you that i wont come its ok. If not? Alternative B: plz contact Alexander Huelsing from the blog „Deutsche Startups“ http://www.deutsche-startups.de/kontakt/kontakt/ They’re blogging daily about the startup scene and are quite well known (among the startup scene, but that is exactly what you are looking for;).

  • @robert, ok thanks for the tip. I’ll contact Deutsche Startups. All the best with your blog and hope meeting you somewhere in the near future.
