A marine biology professor at Harvard would say to the new students every year: „Fish are my life and livelihood. I know the names of all the species and kinds of fish out there. My memory for names is full. Therefore, I will not be learning your names, because for each of you I remember, I lose a fish, and clearly I cannot do that.“
