Who we are:
We are three guys in our late 20s / early 30s from diverse entrepreneurial, professional and academic backgrounds (Events & Entertainment, Management, Marketing, Sales, and Finance). We are currently starting-up a Web 2.0-inspired company selling customized products / service bundles to a lifestyle-oriented (affluent to high net worth) target group. What we are looking for:
An inspired and inspiring business partner / co-founder with a solid background in web & IT. Our target group will expect a state-of-the-art user front-end / smoking web-design etc. For us to be successful, we need a fully integrated database management tool including an online shopping facility. Your task: as a member of the board you will be responsible for all of the above. It will be your responsibility to source the best people to build your team and / or to decide whether to make or buy.
What you should bring along:
Experience! You should previously have been responsible for the IT of a Web 2.0-related company, ideally in the lifestyle sector and have the necessary technical background (databases, cms, protocols, programming languages, operating systems, and hardware) just as well as a comprehensive market understanding. You are used to being a project leader in charge of a troop of programmers, web-designers and genius developers whilst being able to communicate effectively with your fellow board members not fluent in IT. As the company will at first operate from London and Frankfurt, you must be willing to work and live in either place. Our goal is to become international rapidly (first expansion planned to the US).

We are looking for someone who is convinced by what (s)he is doing, i.e., someone who appreciates being an owner of the company (s)he works for. This implies becoming a shareholder. (During start-up your income will have low fixed and high variable components.) Exact figures are to be negotiated and will depend on the way you wish your engagement to be structured.

We are currently closing the fundraising for start-up and founding the corporate launch structure. We will open our development office in Frankfurt at the beginning of 2007. We are planning a development phase of 6 months for the fully functional online platform and the launch product portfolio for kick-off. A second fundraising round for the launch is planned for June 2007. For you this would mean that you should be ready to be in Frankfurt, Germany latest March 2007.
