However, Moore’s theories are only applicable for disruptive or discontinuous innovations. Adoption of continuous innovations (that do not force a significant change of behavior by the customer) are still best described by the original Technology adoption lifecycle. Und immer dann, wenn ich beim Volker was lese, weiß ich, dass es nun den Schritt „early majority“ erreicht hat. In dem Fall Twitter unter den Notes-Leuten🙂
Wenn Du recht hättest, müssten die User-Zahlen von Twitter damit aber auch sprunghaft ansteigen. Sagen wir von ca. 1 Mio auf 10 Mio, oder?
Aber wenn man sich bei Twitter in Richtung 2 Mio User bewegt (was wahrscheinlicher ist), wäre das noch weit entfernt von einer „Early Majority“.
